Wizard Chao is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a Chao that can increase their bonded individual's rewards.

Appearance

Wizard Chao have light blue pudding-like bodies with round, waterdrop-like heads. They also have large eyes, no noses or mouths, round torsos that are smaller than their heads, smooth feet with no legs, and arms with no visible hands. In addition, neither their arms nor feet have digits. They also have a floating yellow dot above their heads, white tips on their legs and arms, short and round tails, and a small set of wings on their backs. For attire, Wizard Chao wear a wizard outfit consisting of a blue wizard hat with yellow stars on it, and a blue shirt with yellow buttons, and it also has an orange magic wand with a yellow star.

Overview

In Sonic Speed Simulator, Wizard Chao is a collectible pet of the "Legendary" rarity, available during update 2.15. It is available via the Wave 5 Spin Wheel, with a 5.23% chance of being rewarded.

In gameplay, Wizard Chao can be equipped to the playable character, allowing them to fly by the side of the playable character as they move around. In addition, when equipped, Wizard Chao will grant additional Experience Points whenever the playable character obtains a Chaos Orb, and additional Damage whenever they attack an enemy or a boss. The player can as well level up Wizard Chao for a cost of Rings and/or Red Star Rings at the Upgrade Machine, with level 25 being the maximum level. Leveling up a Wizard Chao will improve its reward-granting attributes. Additionally, the player can fuse a Wizard Chao by collecting five Wizard Chao, leveling all of them up to maximum, and bringing them to the Fusion Machine. Fusing a Wizard Chao will result in a singular fused Chao at level 1.

Powers and abilities

Wizard Chao are capable of flight. In addition, they possess the power to increase the rewards granted to the person they have bonded with.

Trivia

• Despite sharing it's name with a Buddy from Sonic Runners, the Wizard Chao does not resemble the Wizard Chao from that game, but rather, the Witch Chao from Sonic Speed Simulator looks more like the Wizard Chao from Sonic Runners instead.
