Resistance Chao is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a Chao that can increase their bonded individual's rewards.

Appearance

Resistance Chao have maroon pudding-like bodies with round, waterdrop-like heads. They also have dark blue eyes, no noses or mouths, round torsos that are smaller than their heads, smooth feet with no legs, and arms with no visible hands. In addition, neither their arms nor feet have digits. However, they have red tips on their arms and feet. They also have a floating red dot above their heads, short and round tails, and a small set of wings on their backs. For attire, they wear a black beret with a red brim and the resistance emblem on it, a brown sash/belt with grey metal buckles, a red bandana around their neck, and a black armband with red edges on their left arm.

Overview

In Sonic Speed Simulator, Miner Chao is a collectible pet of the "Epic" rarity. It can be earned from the Resistance Rebound event by collecting 1000 and 4500 Metal Scraps, which gives the player 2 and 3 of them respectively.

In gameplay, Resistance Chao can be equipped to the playable character, allowing them to fly by the side of the playable character as they move around. In addition, when equipped, Resistance Chao will grant additional Experience Points whenever the playable character obtains a Chaos Orb and additional Rings whenever they pick up a single Ring. They also provide additional spin dash and jump power. The player can as well level up Resistance Chao for a cost of Rings and/or Red Star Rings at the Upgrade Machine, with level 25 being the maximum level. Leveling up a Resistance Chao will improve its attributes. Additionally, the player can fuse a Resistance Chao by collecting five of them, leveling all of them up to maximum, and bringing them to the Fusion Machine. Fusing a Resistance Chao will result in a singular fused Chao at level one.

Powers and abilities

Resistance Chao are capable of flight. In addition, they possess the power to increase the rewards granted to the person they have bonded with, alongside increasing spin dash and jump power.
