Vampire Shadow Chao is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a Dark Chao that resembles Vampire Shadow and can increase their bonded individual's rewards.

Appearance

Vampire Shadow Chao have black pudding-like bodies with round, waterdrop-like heads. They also have large eyes, no noses or mouths, round torsos that are smaller than their heads, smooth feet with no legs, and arms with no visible hands. In addition, neither their arms nor feet have digits. They also have a floating purple orb above their heads, short and round tails, and a small set of wings on their backs. For attire, the Vampire Shadow Chao has a purple top hat and a purple cape. It's head shape resembles that of Shadow's quills.

Overview

In Sonic Speed Simulator, Vampire Shadow Chao is a collectible pet of the "Exotic" rarity. It was first available during the introduction of the Vampire Shadow Event. It cost 199 Robux for 1 of them and 499 for a group of 5.

In gameplay, Vampire Shadow Chao can be equipped to the playable character, allowing them to fly by the side of the playable character as they move around. In addition, when equipped, Vampire Shadow Chao will grant additional Experience Points whenever the playable character obtains a Chaos Orb and additional Rings whenever they pick up a single Ring. The player can as well level up Vampire Shadow Chao for a cost of Rings and/or Red Star Rings at the Upgrade Machine, with level 25 being the maximum level. Leveling up a Vampire Shadow Chao will improve its reward-granting attributes. Additionally, the player can fuse a Vampire Shadow Chao by collecting five Vampire Shadow Chao, leveling all of them up to maximum, and bringing them to the Fusion Machine. Fusing a Vampire Shadow Chao will result in a singular fused Chao at level 1.

Powers and abilities

Vampire Shadow Chao are capable of flight. In addition, they possess the power to increase the rewards granted to the person they have bonded with.
