In the past, Apogee along with his family the Celestial Troupe would travel to various location on Earth such as Central City, Sunset City, Seaside City, and Spagonia to perform their acrobatic talents for audiences. During one of their performances his child Soleil would accidently mess up the performance causing her and her husband Apogee to remove Soleil from future acts. Sometime after they noticed Soleil would gain the "Lunar" persona and blamed the Sonic videos for corrupting Soleil.

At a palace in Sequin, the quartet is then interrupted by the announcement of the Celestial Troupe, acrobatic artists that have an act to entertain the guests. A protective shield is placed around the emerald during the performance, During the next part of the Troupe's traipsing act, smoke erupts, the performance goes awry, and Lunar emerges from the fray with the emerald.[2]

Apogee, Perigee, and their associates, Yaw, Pitch and Roll, descend not as concerned parents, but as furious disciplinarians. Disappointed and infuriating, they ordered Soleil to give up his phone and smashed it while scolding Soleil. Then Sonic and Tails stood up for Soleil immediately to protect him. Soleil's parents immediately blame Sonic for "corrupting" their child, viewing his influence as a poison that introduced the concept of imperfect fun into their world of rigid perfection. They declare that Sonic must pay for the damage done to their family's spotless reputation. While Sonic and Tails were about to fight Soleil's family, the huge pressure triggers a shift allowing Soleil to turn back to the Lunar persona. Now confident and defiant, Lunar insists on running away from the situation entirely. Soon, Apogee and Perigee came, and scolded Soleil's moves were terrible, but Sonic stood up for Soleil. Then Soleil told Sonic they're OK and confessed his parents' methods were too brutal and for Soleil. Instead of learning all the moves, Soleil prefers to do more new and amazing things that are themselves. Their parents acknowledged Soleil would reject their family's quest for perfection and regretted for almost pushing Soleil away and gave Soleil a great support.

But suddenly, Shadow dropped from the sky and grabbed Soleil away for stealing the chaos emerald. Her along with her husband fought Shadow with Sonic and Tails. When Tails took Soleil away, Sonic tried to Shadow out of it, but Shadow demanded that the emerald could only be safe when handed to him properly. And so, Sonic and Shadow continued to fight. While they were fighting, Rouge attacked Soleil with a surprise and got the emerald. Shadow agreed that the emerald is safer with her than in Sonic's hands. So, Rouge and Shadow got hold of the emerald and Soleil's back with their family.[3] Perigee and the others soon saw the arrival of Dr. Eggman and his Egg Juggler which caused them to start moving to higher ground due to the large incoming waves. As there running up the bridge her and her family follow Shadow and Rouge to a nearby pillar as her and her husband cheered on Soleil telling them to form up and make him and his wife proud. Soon Eggman would fall but grabbed on to the pillar they were standing on causing him and his family to move immediately, soon after they would assist Sonic and Shadow by keeping the citizens safe as they finish the fight. Soleil would soon call the Celestial Troupe to form up on them and take out the robot using attack form three which in the end manage to destroy the robot and cause Eggman to flee. Perigee and her husband then thanked Sonic for helping them and their child Soleil and said their goodbyes as they left.[4]
Personality
Initially, Perigee was the stern architect of a rigid world, where perfection was the only currency and his family's acrobatic legacy was a prison of precision. She saw Soleil's individuality not as a gift, but as a flaw to be corrected, and her love was a conditional reward for flawless performance.
When Soleil directly confronted her and Apogee, declaring the intent to reject their quest for perfection and find their own style, a crack appeared in her flawless facade. She was the first to break, looking inward and confessing with genuine remorse that their methods had been "overbearing." This heartfelt admission was the key that unlocked Apogee's understanding which struck Apogee with the devastating realization that their perfect parenting had nearly driven their child away forever.
In that moment, her obsession with control crumbled. Humbled and united by the fear of losing Soleil, ahe and Apogee underwent a profound transformation. They cast aside their roles as demanding directors and pledged to become fervent supporters, promising to back Soleil's own path with 110% of their might, finally trading their prison of perfection for a foundation of unconditional support.
