The Stealth Chaser (スティルスチェイサー, Sutirusu Cheisā^?) is a vehicle that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is Espio the Chameleon's personal racing machine, specially created by Dodon Pa to let him compete in the CrossWorld Grand Prix and can transform into a boat, truck and airplane convertible.

Description

The Stealth Chaser has Espio's primarily color scheme of black with deep purple and magenta highlights with the body is aerodynamic and minimalistic, with smooth, angular surfaces. The front features sleek, slanted yellow headlights with a sharp, angular hood line that resembles a blade or ninja kunai. A bold purple stripe runs along the center of the car’s front and down the middle, and the rims glow with a matching purple-magenta hue.

Like all Machines, the Stealth Chaser's wheels can transform when passing through a Transformation Gate, allowing it to function similarly to a boat or plane. The car itself can transform into a Monster Truck using the item of the same name.

History

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds

In Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, the Stealth Chaser is driven by Espio the Chameleon and was created by Dodon Pa's company being Donpa Motors. In gameplay the vehicle can transform into a car, plane or boat passing through a Transformation Gate.
