The Mind Probe[1] is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog television series. It is a device created by Dr. Robotnik to read the minds of Worker-Bots.

Description

Appearance

The Mind Probe is a gray-colored metallic device consisting of an antenna that resembles a clawed hand with four fingers. On each "finger" is a small yellow orb.

Features and abilities

By attaching the Mind Probe to the head of a roboticized subject, the user is able to read this Worker-Bot's mind. This allows the user to gather information from the subject's memory. It can even gather intel from the subject's memory before they were roboticized.[1]

During his reign, the Mind Probe was used by Dr. Robotnik to search his roboticized slaves for info on weaknesses to use against his enemies.[1]

Determined to gather information about the dragons he did not know of, Dr. Robotnik ordered the use of a Mind Probe on a Worker-Bot dragon in the Crystal Mine. Through the use of the Mind Probe, the doctor learned some interesting details about Dragon's Nest.[1]
