The Hover Pad^[1] is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog television series. It is a type of flying platforms located in Robotropolis.

Description

Hover Pads are round, flying metal platforms, without railings. They only have a control panel on the front that allows their passengers to manage their flight.^[1]

History

TV series

Season one

After a mission went wrong, Sonic and Sally used a Hover Pad to escape the pursuing Hover Units in Robotropolis. During the pursuit, the heroes briefly lost the Hover Units. However, they immediately caught up with them again. Eventually, Sonic and Sally flew their Hover Pad into Robotropolis' subway. There, they quickly jumped off the Hover Pad as it got shot down by the Hover Units.^[1]
